3 pts win HANSA ROSTOCK 1.38/1 ( Paddy Power) v Carl Zeiss Jena Bundesliga 2

Hansa have been lacking the sharpness that they displayed in the first half of the season, and indeed, they were lucky to go into half time level in last Monday's home tie against Cologne. The second half was a different story. Hansa looked dangerous everytime they went forward, and only a combination of Stefan Wessels, poor finishing and bad luck prevented them from winning the match. That promotion place is now far from assured, and I expect the team to respond to the situation by overpowering Jena here.

Jena 1 Rostock 2 + 4.14 pts

3 pts FC KOLN 0.67/1 ( Paddy Power) v Koblenz Bundesliga 2

Although situated in Rhineland - Palatinate, the next state down from Nord Rhine-Westphalia, Koblenz lies only 40 miles away from Cologne, and this encounter has the ' Derby' tag, though such is the high number of clubs eminating from NRW, that the term is applied to a high number of fixtures. Koblenz are a team who perform above their resources. They won 3-1 when the teams met in November but face a Cologne team who are in fine heart at the moment. Admittedly, they rode their luck in the second half against Hansa, but had the better of the first half and should prove too good for the visitors on Sunday.

Koln 3 Koblenz 1 + 2.01 pts

3pts BORUSSIA MONCHENGLADBACH 1.1/1( generally available) v Eintracht Frankfurt Bundesliga 1

There are now suddenly five points between Monchengladbach and safety, and their fate could already be sealed. They cannot possibly entertain defeat here and there recent home form does inspire confidence. In fact, they have gone five home matches without defeat against some tough opponents and there are currently eight teams in Bundesliga 1 who have an inferior home record. The visitors got a terrific result against the inconsistent Bayern last time, but they'll struggle to come away with anything from this clash.

Gladbach 1 Frankfurt 1 - 3pts
