2 pts win NEW LITTLE BRIC 4.9/1 ( Betfair) Jewson Novices Handicap Chase
1 pt win LIMITED EDITION 12/1 ( Generally available) Jewson Handicap Chase

In a race where there are question marks hanging over many of the competitors, New Little Bric is the one horse in this field who could end up competing in championship races in the future. He is sure to put in a bold showing. Limited Edition is evidently difficult to train but has a valuable race in him, and represents a yard that has been going foward since Llewellyn took over from Pitman.

3 pts win MONET'S GARDEN 5/2 ( Generally available)Ryanair Chase

Now the ground has dried, connections will probably be regretting not running him in the QM or Gold Cup. His participation has however given the credibility of this contest a boost. He's at the peak of his powers at this very moment, had a genuine excuse when below form in the King George, and it is hard to see how Racing Demon will reverse the Arkle form. Must take all the beating today.

3pts place MIGHTY MAN 1.06/1 ( Betfair) World Hurdle

Instead of getting involved in the pro's and cons of supporting or opposing Black Jack Ketchum, it's probably wiser to play safe and get into Mighty Man to reach the frame. He's tough and reliable, is a major player in these type of events, and can be guaranteed to be staying on up the hill.

2 pts win OPERA MUNDI 5/1 ( Paddy Power) Racing Post Plate
1 pt win KILL DEVIL HILL 23/1 ( Betfair) Racing Post Plate

Like Little Bric in the opener, Opera Mundi is the one contender here who could progress to championship standard. He has bags of scope, jumps efficiently for one so inexperienced, and it will be a surprise if he dosen't go close to winning today. Kill Devil Hill has done most of his racing in testing conditions, but has been mixing it in and acquitting himself well against some big names. His trainer has gained a reputation for being able to plot one out and I'm expecting this gelding to run really well here.

1 pt win RHINESTONE COWBOY 13.5/1( Betfair) Pertemps Final
1 pt win MATERIAL WORLD 16/1 ( Betfair) Pertemps Final
1 pt OSCAR PARK 24/1 ( Betfair) Pertemps Final

Rhinestone Cowboy ran a race full of promise at Haydock last time. Though obviously not the force of hold, he dosen't have many miles on the clock for his age, will enjoy this drying ground, and appeals as a major contender here. Material World is a thoroughly reliable and likeable, handles the course and big fields, and is sure to be involved in this in a big way. Oscar Park is an interesting contender. He was only 16/1 in the Black Jack Ketchum race here last season, handles big fields, and is still hard to put a mark on despite his poor run last time. He catches the eye at current odds.

Oscar Park Won + 22 pts
