2 pts SC FREIBURG - 0 Asian Handicap 0.93/1 ( Betfair) v SpVgg Unterhaching Bundesliga 2

Unterhachung hover above the relegation zone. Freiburg still have an outside chance of getting into promotion contention but make the journey to Munich knowing they must keep the current momentum going. They have won their last three and face a team who can only boast a 2 from 10 record at home in Bundesliga matches this season. To be on the safe side I'll take the draw out and support Freiburg at - 0 on the Asians.

2pts FC KOLN -1 & - 1.5 Asian Handicap 0.86/1 ( Betfair) v Carl Zeiss Jena

Cologne gained a much needed victory down in Bavaria last weekend and it will be a major disappointment for the club if they are unable to despatch of their eastern rivals today. It was announced during the week that their still sidelined star Patrick Helmes will remain at the club for the whole duration of the 2007/08 season, before moving over the water to Leverkusen. The long term injured apart, Daum has a fully fit squad to choose from today. Jena have yet to win on the road this season and are finding life hard at the moment, and the home side should be supported on the Asians, with the -1 & -1.5 the safest option bearing in mind that shaky defence.

Koln 1 Jena 0 - 1pt

3pts WERDER BREMEN 1.06/1 ( Betfair) v Schalke 04 Bundesliga 1

The biggest match in Germany so far this season. Bremen have been successful in this fixture on four out the last five occasions and are confidently expected to take this despite not having Frings available. The S04 are exciting to watch when things unfold their way but do have a tendency to become frustrated easily and spit out the dummy when things do not pan out. Yes, they are on a fine run at the moment, but will more than meet their match today and the home side are worth the maximum stake to win this.

Bremen 0 SO4 2 - 3pts
